PORTACAL® Methane (CH₄) Calibration Gas is designed for the calibration, bump testing, and verification of compatible methane gas detectors, combustible gas sensors, LEL detectors, and monitoring instruments.

Methane (CH₄) is a colorless, odorless, highly flammable gas and the primary component of natural gas. Steel cylinders are for non-reactive calibration gases only. Aluminum cylinders are for reactive calibration gases only, regardless of cylinder size. Please verify the gas type and cylinder material when selecting your calibration gas.
