Gastec Rubber Safety Covers provide a protective barrier over the exposed glass ends of Gastec Detector Tubes after the tube tips have been broken for sampling. Designed to help reduce exposure to sharp, broken glass, these durable rubber covers easily slip over the ends of compatible detector tubes before gas sampling.

Each package contains 20 Gastec Rubber Safety Covers and is available in two sizes: Small/Pink or Large/Blue, depending on the detector tube being used.

Added Protection During Detector Tube Sampling

After breaking the tip of a Gastec Detector Tube, simply place the appropriate rubber safety cover over the exposed tube end. The thick, durable rubber construction creates a protective barrier between the user and the sharp glass while still allowing the detector tube to be used for sampling.

Choose the correct size for your detector tube:

Small/Pink: For all other Gastec Detector Tubes.
Large/Blue: For Gastec Detector Tubes 1HT, 1HH, 2HT, 2HH, 4HT, and 31B.
