The Gastec Hot Probe is designed for sampling and measuring high-temperature gases ranging from 60–600°C by cooling the sampled gas to ordinary temperatures before measurement. It is ideal for applications involving hot exhaust gases from vehicles, incinerators, and other high-temperature sources.

The probe measures 49 cm (19.3 inches) long, allowing the operator to maintain additional distance from hot gas sources during sampling. Its narrow design also makes it suitable for accessing confined or difficult-to-reach sampling locations.

Hot Gas Sampling

The Gastec Hot Probe allows gases at elevated temperatures to be sampled by cooling them before measurement. Its extended probe length helps keep the operator farther from the heat source, while vertical and horizontal support allows the probe to be positioned in different directions for hard-to-reach sampling points.
