PORTACAL® Ethylene (C₂H₄) Calibration Gas is designed for the calibration, bump testing, and verification of compatible ethylene gas detectors, sensors, and monitoring instruments.

Ethylene (C₂H₄) is a colorless, flammable gas with a slightly sweet, musky odor. It is widely used throughout the agricultural, food processing, petrochemical, and chemical industries, including applications involving fruit ripening and chemical manufacturing.

PORTACAL® Ethylene Calibration Gas provides a known concentration of ethylene to help verify that compatible ethylene sensors, combustible gas detectors, portable gas monitors, and fixed gas detection systems are functioning and responding properly.

Cylinder Material Notice

Steel cylinders are for non-reactive calibration gases only. Aluminum cylinders are for reactive calibration gases only, regardless of cylinder size. Please verify the gas type and cylinder material when selecting your calibration gas.
