The Drager HazMat Simultest Kit with Accuro Pump is a portable gas and vapor detection system designed for rapid screening of hazardous substances commonly encountered during chemical spills, leaks, emergency response situations, and structural fires.
The kit is based on Drager HazMat Simultest Sets I, II, and III, which use specially developed and calibrated 5-tube sets to simultaneously screen for groups of inorganic gases, acid and basic gases, combustion gases, and organic vapors.
Each semi-quantitative test takes approximately one minute, allowing HazMat teams, firefighters, emergency responders, and industrial safety personnel to quickly evaluate potentially hazardous atmospheres.
HazMat Simultest Set I – Inorganic & Combustion Gases
Designed for the detection of acid gases (hydrochloric acid), basic gases (ammonia), carbon monoxide, hydrocyanic acid, and nitrous gases (nitrogen dioxide). Set I can also be used to detect gases and vapors associated with structural fires.
HazMat Simultest Set II – Inorganic Gases
Designed for the detection of carbon dioxide, chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, phosgene, and sulfur dioxide. Set II can also be used for gases and vapors generated during structural fires.
HazMat Simultest Set III – Organic Vapors
Designed for screening several groups of organic vapors, including alcohols (methanol), aliphatic hydrocarbons (n-hexane), aromatic hydrocarbons (toluene), chlorinated hydrocarbons (perchloroethylene), and ketones (acetone).
