The Dräger Ammonia Diffusion Tubes 20/a-D are designed for passive measurement of ammonia (NH₃) over extended sampling periods ranging from 1 to 8 hours.

Unlike traditional short-term detector tube measurements, these diffusion tubes do not require a sample pump, making them a convenient option for longer-duration ammonia monitoring.

The measurement range varies according to the selected sampling period, allowing ammonia concentrations from 2.5 ppm up to 1,500 ppm to be measured.

Measurement Ranges

Sampling Time Ammonia Measurement Range
1 Hour 20–1,500 ppm
2 Hours 10–750 ppm
5 Hours 4–300 ppm
8 Hours 2.5–200 ppm

Overall Range: 2.5–1,500 ppm × h
Sampling Duration: 1–8 Hours
Sample Pump Required: No

Common Applications

Dräger Ammonia Diffusion Tubes are suitable for industrial hygiene, workplace air monitoring, occupational exposure assessment, chemical processing facilities, refrigeration environments, agricultural applications, fertilizer operations, and other locations where ammonia exposure may need to be monitored over an extended period.

Important

No sample pump is required. These tubes operate using passive diffusion and should be used according to the specified sampling time and applicable Dräger instructions.
