PORTACAL® Ammonia (NH₃) Calibration Gas is designed for the calibration, bump testing, and verification of compatible ammonia gas detectors and monitoring instruments.

Ammonia (NH₃) is a colorless gas with a strong, distinctive odor and is widely used throughout industrial, agricultural, and commercial applications. Common uses include agricultural fertilizers, industrial refrigeration, water treatment, and the manufacturing of plastics, textiles, pesticides, dyes, and other chemicals.

PORTACAL® Ammonia Calibration Gas provides a known concentration of ammonia to help verify that compatible NH₃ sensors, portable gas detectors, fixed gas detection systems, and industrial gas monitors are functioning and responding properly.

Steel cylinders are for non-reactive calibration gases only. Aluminum cylinders are for reactive calibration gases only, regardless of cylinder size. Please verify the gas type and cylinder material when selecting your calibration gas.
