PORTACAL® Sulfur Dioxide (SO₂) Calibration Gas is designed for the calibration, bump testing, and verification of compatible sulfur dioxide gas detectors, SO₂ sensors, and monitoring instruments.

Sulfur dioxide (SO₂) is a colorless, toxic gas with a strong, irritating odor commonly produced by the combustion of sulfur-containing fuels and various industrial processes. It may be encountered in power generation, petroleum refining, metal processing and smelting, pulp and paper production, chemical manufacturing, wastewater treatment, and other industrial environments where accurate sulfur dioxide monitoring may be required.

Steel cylinders are for non-reactive calibration gases only. Aluminum cylinders are for reactive calibration gases only, regardless of cylinder size. Please verify the gas type and cylinder material when selecting your calibration gas.
