GASTEC Gas Detection
System:
HazMat and Smoke Tube Kits |
 |
Deluxe HazMat
Kit
Fast, Accurate, On-the-Spot Identification of Unknown Chemicals
On-the-spot detection of airborne contaminants for hazardous
and emergency response teams and military assessment. Lightweight, rugged
and ready to use anywhere. No calibration, no electrical
requirements.
How It Works
Use the decision chart in the kit and the pre-calibrated, direct-read
detector tubes to obtain quantitative results. The tubes have distinct lines of demarcation for easier viewing and require no interpretation, dual scales or color charts. |
Complete
Deluxe HazMat Kit includes:
Gastec model GV-100 sampling pump, five-meter extension hose with rubber shroud tube holder, detector tube handbook,
two lightsticks, one Irritant Smoke Tube Kit, M8 detection paper for 100 tests for toxic nerve agents (V and G) and blister agents (H), tweezers, laminated decision chart and waterproof Pelican case with custom foam insert.
The kit also includes one box (10 tubes per box) each of Gastec detector tubes for ammonia (part number 3L), benzene (part 121S), carbon monoxide (1LA), chlorine (8LA), ethyl acetate (141L), hydrogen cyanide (12L), hydrogen sulfide (4LL), hydrocarbons low class (103), hydrocarbons high class (105), petroleum naphtha (106), Polytec I tubes qualitative (107), Stoddard Solvent (128) and sulfur dioxide (5LB).

The Polytec I and Polytec IV tubes determine the presence of
multiple unknown substances, simultaneously.
Polytec I tests for carbon disulfide, hydrogen sulfide, carbon
monoxide, acetone, acetylene, ethylene, benzene, propane, styrene,
trichloroethylene, gasoline and toluene. Polytec
IV tests for ammonia, hydrogen chloride, hydrogen sulfide, chlorine,
sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, acetylene, carbon monoxide,
ethylene, phosphine, hydrogen, methyl mercaptan, propylene, carbon
dioxide. |

Smoke Tube Kit
Quick, simple and inexpensive. Use smoke tubes to trace and
determine the source, direction and dispersion of air
currents. Highly visible white smoke provides an immediate
and obvious cue to the directional pattern
of air currents.
Extended shelf life and broad environmental operating conditions.
Can also be used
for respirator fit testing, for OSHA-accepted qualitative fit
testing. No warm-up time,
no calibration, no chemical mixtures to prepare in advance. |

Measure Contaminants in Compressed Gas
Deluxe Airtec Regulator Kit
|
Airtec tubes are a convenient and simple way to test a gas cylinder, compressed breathing air or an air line for harmful airborne contaminants. The Airtec Regulator Kit has everything you need to measure contaminant levels in compressed gas and supplied air. With no need for batteries or electrical power, the portable kit is intrinsically safe and can be used anywhere, any time.
The kit comes with Gastec brand Airec tubes for oil mist, water vapor, nitrogen dioxide, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. The regulator does not require sensor calibration and is always ready to use.
Airtec Regulator Kit includes the regulator assembly, rubber shroud tube holder, detector tube handbook, operating manual, box of 10 carbon monoxide tubes (part no. 1A, measuring range of 5 to 50 ppm), box of 10 carbon dioxide tubes (part no. 2A, measuring range of 250 to 3000 ppm), box of 10 water vapor tubes (part no. 6A, measuring range of 30 to 80 mg/m3), box of 10 water vapor tubes (part no. 6Ag, measuring range of 150 to 3000 mg/m3), box of 10 oil mist tubes (part no. 109A, measuring range of 0.3 to 1.5 mg/m3), and a hard shell carrying case.
Kit is part no. STD-301 $1,350.00 |
