Dual
Purpose Refrigerant & Combustibles Leak Detector
For HVAC technicians, medical contractors, refrigerant service technicians
and just about anyone whose job involves locating refrigerant leaks,
the INFORMANT 2 does what other detectors can't -- it finds any
type of refrigerant in about two-thirds of a second, even under
high levels of background vapors. An auto zero feature kicks in
every 10 seconds. It remembers the gas concentration last exposed
to the sensor and responds again when greater concentrations are found.
That means you can pinpoint the exact location of even the tiniest leak.
And there's no resetting or switching the unit to detect a different
refrigerant type. The INFORMANT 2 has a 20-inch flexible
probe with a 0.2-inch tapered probe end to get between coils and fittings
and other hard to reach areas.
